  • We highly recommend that you check with your chassis builder for their latest  recommendations as technology changes very frequently.

  • You should check gas pressures in shocks before every race as they sometimes will leak off.

  • Valving numbers or values vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. For example one company's 4 valving is not necessarily the same as another company's.

  • Genesis Shocks with Schrader valve you can adjust the gas pressure. You can run anywhere from 30 psi up to 200 psi always use Nitrogen or dry air that has been run thru Cam Air system.

  • You can run the gas pressure down to 40# in real slick conditions but with Genesis Shocks you really don’t need to vary much off the 75# to 85# range unless it’s rough. Then go up to 100# to 125#.

  • If the shocks compression is a 7 or higher more gas pressure is required use 150# to 200#

  • 3675 Coil Over Kit for 5" Springs for GS0 and GSN1 series shocks.
  • Always check the travel on all shocks for rebound extension and compression travel as some cars need a 1" or 2" shock extensions in some applications.

  • Also available in the GSN0 and GSN1 series are standard valvings like 75, 76, 94 and 95 and so on.
  • Some cars run a shock in front of the left rear to control the motion on acceleration and braking like a GSN194-0 or GSN195-0 for Sweeping corner tracks and GSN196-0 or a GSN196-2 for tighter corner tracks. And on slick tracks when hunting for more traction some cars use a dummy shock GSN190. Also available in GNO series. We can your gas pressure accordingly any where from 50 psi to 200 psi.
